About Food Bank Singapore

The Food Bank Singapore Ltd. was founded in 2012 and is a registered Charity and Institution of a Public Character (IPC) in Singapore.  It operates as a foodbank that collects excess food from food suppliers and re-distributes them to organisations such as old folks' homes, family service centres and soup kitchens.

To end food insecurity in all forms in Singapore. 

vision
Our vision is to be the prevailing centralized coordinating organization for all food donations and to play a key role in the reduction of food wastage and food insecurity.

We have a total of 360 member beneficiaries spreading acrosss various demographics:

  • Family Service Centers (FSCs)
  • soup kitchens
  • other voluntary welfare organizations (VWOs)
  • religious establishments
  • schools with children from low income families
