Guillermo Novo, Osama Musa and Bert Kroon opened both R&D laboratories with a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony.  

The followed innovation seminar included a tour of our innovation platforms, new to the world technologies and discovery of our transformed vegetable oils with customizable solutions. Biopolymers were showcased as delivering exceptional performance alongside our innovative rheology modifiers that optimize texture and enhance product efficacy. Attendees gained valuable insights about Ashland's cutting-edge testing capabilities and groundbreaking innovations in biodegradable ingredients for personal care applications. In addition, Central R&D presented polymer design, biodegradability and ecotoxicity testing capabilities.

The day provided a unique opportunity for customers to gain firsthand knowledge from Ashland leaders and explore innovative solutions to help elevate their business.

Some customers remained after the event to continue discussions related to their specific projects with Ashland innovation in the personal care space. Some customers who couldn’t attend have asked to visit the team in Zwijndrecht at a later date and follow up meetings are already scheduled.
