suttocide™ a preservative is sold as a 50% aqueous solution of sodium hydroxymethylglycinate. The solution is a clear alkaline liquid with a mild characteristic odor, water soluble at any ratio. This single preservative is cost-effective and provides broad spectrum protection against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, yeast and mold. It is suggested for use in skin care products, like liquid and bar soaps, emulsion based products and baby wipes. This product can be used to neutralize anionic thickening polymers, such as carbomer, Stabileze™ and Aculyns.
