N-Hance SP-100 conditioning polymer is used as a substantive conditioning polymer in shampoos, to reduce tangling and improve the wet and dry comb properties of hair after shampooing. It is especially useful for delivering a highly conditioned feel to wet and dry hair. N-Hance SP-100 conditioning polymer also functions as a deposition polymer in two-in-one shampoo systems by forming a coacervate with anionic surfactants, promoting the deposition of silicone, other emollients, or anti-dandruff agents such as zinc or selenium onto hair and scalp. Typical use levels are from 0.1 wt% to 0.25 wt%.
