PVP K-60 solution is comprised of a linear, non-ionic polymer that is soluble in water and many organic solvents. It is pH stable and has adhesive and cohesive properties which allows it to adsorb on active ingredient hosts. The ability to do this makes PVP K-60 solution an excellent co-dispersant in many formulations. Its high molecular weight and viscosity allow it to considerably influence flow properties by building formulation viscosity faster and providing superior binding and film forming properties.
