CORE AND MOLD ADHESIVES

We offer a full line of specially formulated core and mold adhesives for the metal casting industry. These include both single-component adhesives that can be used for air-set, oven and microwave curing processes, and two-component, chemically reactive adhesives, which have exceptional tensile development.

»	Single-Component Adhesives
	Our high-quality ZIP-STIK®, LIQUI PASTE® and MICROSET™ adhesives are specially formulated, single-component core and mold adhesives that can be used for air-set, oven and microwave curing processes.

»	Two-Component Adhesives
	Our OMEGA SET and ISOPASTE lines are two-component, chemically reactive adhesives, which have exceptional tensile development..

CORE AND MOLD BINDERS

We are the industry leader in the development and sale of foundry core and mold binders, including cold box binder systems, amine catalysts, no-bake binder systems and heat-cured binder systems.

»	Cold Box Binder Systems
	In the 1960s, we revolutionized sand casting with our ISOCURE® cold box binder process. The product line since has evolved to include new formulations that let you reach the exact attributes needed.

»	Amine Catalysts
	We offer three amine catalyst systems for the cold box process, as well as the amine recycling needed to ensure safe and environmental solutions for the disposal of scrubber effluent.

»	No-Bake Binder Systems
	Introduced in the 1960s, our LINO-CURE® was the first urethane no-bake binder. Our technology has since evolved to let you to choose the economic and performance attributes that best suit your needs.

»	Heat-Cured Binder Systems
	We offer furan-based warm-box binders with excellent flowability and bench life and phenolic-based hot-box binders, which exhibit excellent strength and handling, good cure speeds and easy application.

REFRACTORY COATINGS

We offer a complete line of high-quality, environmentally friendly, water-based coatings and fast-drying solvent/solvent blend coatings for the metal casting industry, environmentally friendly coatings specifically engineered for the lost foam casting process; and coatings formulated for high-production, centrifugal molding processes.

»	VELVAPLAST® and ISOCOTE® Coatings
	We offer environmentally friendly, water-based coatings, which — depending on the formulation — can be applied by brush, swab, spray, dip or flow coating and are compatible with all metal types.

»	VELVALITE® and VELVA COAT®
	We offer fast-drying solvent/solvent blend coatings that are free of chlorinated solvents and contain various refractory blends, which can be applied by brush, swab, spray, dip or flow coating.

»	CERAMCOTE™
	We offer water-based and solvent/solvent blend coatings, which use various refractory blends designed for the sand casting process, V-process and semi-permanent/permanent mold process.

»	CERAMCOTE™ EP
	We offer a complete line of environmentally friendly coatings, which are specifically engineered for the lost foam casting process.

»	CENTRIFICOTE®
	We offer a complete line of coatings formulated for high-production, centrifugal molding processes.

RELEASE AGENTS

We offer a high-quality line of release agents, formulated in conjunction with Blackhawk Specialty Products, which are designed for most core and mold-making processes.

»	ZIP-SLIP® Release Agents
	Our ZIP-SLIP® Release Agents can be solvent based, water based or 100 percent active, and are free of ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons and 1,1,1-trichloroethane.

RISER SLEEVES

Our EXACTCAST® Riser Sleeves are dimensionally accurate with consistent quality and can be used with automatic core setters. This allows for increased productivity, can reduce the cost of pattern set up, prevents "tin cup" defects and provides for consistent performance. Our EXACTCALC™ Foundry Methoding Software complements our riser sleeves and helps in the design and running of feeding systems.

»	EXACTCAST® Sleeves
	Our EXACTCAST® Riser Sleeves are available in a variety of sizes, styles and formulations and can replace traditional fiber-based, insertable, dome, neckdown and cylindrical style sleeves.

»	EXACTCALC™ Software
	EXACTCALC™ software aids in the design of running and feeding systems. Easy-to-use, it supplies you with a scientific and systematic approach to methoding in accordance with ISO 9000 standards.

SPECIALTY PRODUCTS

We offer several lines of specialty products for the metal casting industry, including cleaners and sand additives.

»	Metal Cleaners
	Our METAL CLEANER® and ZIP-CLEAN™ lines were developed to clean binder films and release agents that build up in metal core boxes/tooling and mold-making patterns while minimizing skin irritation.

»	Sand Additives
	Our VEINO®, ISOSEAL® and Iron Oxide sand additives have all been developed to reduce or eliminate veining, gas and penetration defects, and erosion in the metal-casting process.
